The Hamilton Traditional pocket sprung mattress boasts 2000 pocket springs. A pocket sprung mattress is made from individual pocket springs. Each pocket spring is enclosed within it’s own fabric pocket. Working independently from each other, each spring reacts only to the pressure applied to that area. This results in a greater lever of personalised support and response for each person sleeping on the mattress. Pocket springs don’t move as a whole unit. This helps to prevent “roll together” and reduces the transfer of movement to other areas of the mattress. Each pocket springs works individually to correctly support your body. A pocket sprung mattress is particularly beneficial if you and your partner are of different weights or you tend to toss and turn throughout the night.

The Hamilton is finished in a Tencel cover. Tencel is the name of group of semi-synthetic textiles made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. Tencel is considered a high end fabric and is known for it’s soft feel and durability. It is a breathable fabric which means it is pleasant in the Winter and the Summer. It is amore breathable material than cotton. It reduces sweat allowing a comfortable nights sleep. Tencel is hypoallergenic and great for people with sensitive skin.
